What is annotation?

It is marking a text to find language features and using notes in the margin to help you name and explain them.

How do I do annotation?

First of all, read the text and try to understand it. Secondly, circle or draw an arrow to the language features and name them in the margin of the text so that you can later interpret and understand them.

Can I see an example?
